I have been trying to put a good mission statement together with little luck. I think it should cover a few points:
1. We're getting together to learn about the constitution.
2. We also want to inform each other about local and national issues and how they apply to constitutional principles.
3. We want to help each other get involved where possible.
This is the current version but I think it could use some work:
Mission Statement: To increase our influence in the community and nation through education of the constitution and its principles
